This Privacy Policy describes how ArtVybe Marketplace (“ArtVybe”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Platform. We aim to be transparent and to collect only what we need to operate the marketplace.
1. Overview
ArtVybe is a non-custodial NFT marketplace. You retain control of your wallet and private keys at all times, we never store them. We collect a limited set of information needed to operate features such as accounts, listings, notifications, and analytics.
2. Data we collect
- Wallet address: when you connect a wallet, we record your public address to link your activity to your profile.
- Profile information: any optional profile details you provide (display name, bio, avatar, social links, email).
- Content: NFTs and metadata you create, list, or upload, plus any associated media files.
- Activity: bids, offers, listings, sales, and notifications associated with your wallet.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, and approximate location for security and abuse prevention.
3. Wallet signatures
When you sign a message to authenticate, we receive a cryptographic signature that proves control of the wallet. We never gain access to your private key, seed phrase, or funds.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a minimum number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and gather aggregate usage analytics. We do not sell personal information.
5. How we use your data
- To operate, secure, and improve the Platform.
- To send transactional notifications (email, in-app) about your activity.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- To comply with applicable law and respond to legal requests where required.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we use to operate the Platform (hosting, email delivery, monitoring), under contractual obligations of confidentiality. Public on-chain activity (wallet address, transactions, NFTs) is, by nature, public.
7. Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms. On-chain data is permanent and cannot be deleted by us.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete certain personal information we hold. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights. Some data, such as on-chain transactions, cannot be modified or deleted.
9. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards (transport security, access controls, signed authentication challenges) to protect personal information. No system is completely secure; you remain responsible for keeping your wallet and credentials safe.
10. Children
The Platform is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
